How to keep yourself motivated

My few ways to keep motivated 

Hey guys, so i haven't posted for a little while as I've been extremely busy being a mother, making sure my home is all up to scratch/ clean, working and it goes on, anyway i thought its about time to finally talk to you guys how I've been keeping myself motivated and fully awake during busy early days/ not so busy and what i do to keep myself on my feet. 

First off when i don't have work and my daughter gets in to school, i get up at 7.00AM, go for a quick shower, get myself ready for the day, its too 7:45 then i wake up my daughter, go and get her breakfast, let her watch some telly for a little awhile then she tends to play with a few of her toys in the living room before getting washed and dressed, once shes finished with her breakfast she then goes in the bathroom has a quick wash, get changed, make her hair all tidy then woah its time to take her to school, once i've dropped her off, i haven't got work on that day i come home get my comfy/ gym gear on and go for adventure walk/ run ( or run in to town and pay bills) , find somewhere to stop and take some photo's of nature, i love photography, i studied it in college and have loved it ever since, if you can find something that you love doing do it even if its just for a hobby that makes you go the extra mile, one i know walking for an hour or so to get to somewhere where i can find a beautiful place to stop and take it in, i know i'm getting the exercise also 2 its something i love doing as i'm also capturing nature and my surrounding.

Plus once I've done all of my shopping/ pay bills etc it's lovely just to get out in a peaceful place and take it all in. Here's a few photo's i captured i mean who wouldn't want to walk all the way to a peaceful spot?!

Another way to help you get motivated if you can't get motivated of running or walking .. is to believe or not purchase clothes you will feel motivated in/ comfortable in! i highly recommend this, i do own a fairly amount of ''gym'' wear that i feel comfortable in, i had a trip to primark last month with my daughter as i love the collab they've done with Alice 'Aliveliving' range which is absolute stunning and great for people who don't want to spend fortune on gym clothes and also if your just starting at a new gym or getting in to fitness and you don't know what makes you feel good or what kinda gym wear your in too then Primark is the one to try it all out as its affordable. 

I found a few pieces i loved in there, there was a grey and pink pastel long sleeve crop top, they also do the bottoms to match too which is amazing, anyway i tried on the pastel pink and grey with the new jogging bottoms with the stripes she hasn't long put out which i think looked stunning as a combo plus the top isn't too thick and it's so pretty that you can wear it to the gym or go for a walk and feel good in it.

Then i tried on the bright green crop jumper, ok.. so i never wear bright clothing but this has made me change my mind about bright neon clothes.. i had to buy it, it makes you look fully awake, more active and also i felt good in it, this jumper is perfect if its slightly chilly out side and you do want to go for that run but want something on your arms, I've been wearing this a lot ever since and it's great it's change my mind about neon active clothing. 

So yeah if you need a boost on getting yourself out there to get some exercise then i recommend you to head to primark and try out there leisure wear as i do think if you feel comfortable in the clothing your wearing then it will make you want to go and do it.]Another way to make you stick to it is to time yourself, see how long it take to run/ walk to the park, to a nature reserve, town, around the block wherever and keep pushing yourself and see if you can get there faster over the period of time or add an extra mile to your journey and even track how many steps you've done you can do this on your phone and get a tracker or even a smart watch which will tell you how many steps you've done in how many hours, minutes, seconds, how many calories you've burn etc. I own a smart watch and it's literally so good it makes me want to keep pushing myself to go further.
And of course after my run and walk and a adventure out i go and pick my daughter up and do the last bit of exercise before the end of the day, so i either take my daughter out on a bike ride, run in the filed, go for a nice long walk or even go for a jog, at the end of the day fitness is important to a lot of us and to get involved with fitness and your kids in to it is great plus you to spend quality time with them with something you all enjoy.

'Fruitickles' surprise bag

Let's face it, we give our kids the odd treat or so, or when we all do our food shopping the kids runs straight to the sweet / toy section.
The brand ' Fruitickles' is a brand who makes fun, healthy shaped fruit snacks made with 100% fruit! With no added sugar, no artificial colours, gluten free, no gelatin and no chemicals... is there such thing?! yes there is! this brand is also vegetarian and vegan friendly.

They normally have the shaped fruit snacks in little packs or egg shaped containers for the little one's.
But they now have surprise bags! who remembers getting a surprise bag when you was a little one and couldn't wait to open it and see what surprises there was in the bag?! imagine getting these for your kids and watching there face when they open it to see what surprises are in side the bag! plus you know there's a bag of fruit snacks to keep them full till there lunch or dinner time.
They've made a few different kids favourite character surprise bags such as Frozen, Spiderman, Cars, Starwars and I'm sure there's probably a few others too.

Anyway, my daughter normally would choose frozen ( number 1 frozen fan) but this time she picked Spiderman for a change, she actually got so exited when we got home for her to see what's in the Fruitickles surprise bag. The bag contained a small bag of 100% Fruitickles, Spiderman eye pog, a huge activity sheet, colouring Spiderman sheet, a sheet of stickers, rubber, and a change colour crayon pen.

This is such a good product to take on holidays, going traveling, take to restaurants while your child waits for there food, or even on there holiday breaks when you go and do the house work or do important jobs the kids can have a half an hour break doing the activity book and colouring in.
In other Fruitickles surprise bags you can collect keying's, pen toppers, ink stamps and different pogs. Overall I think this is a perfect idea for there treat, instead of just buying a chocolate bar or a small bag of sweets, this will keep them busy and full at the same time, plus they can collect there favourite character collect items which will make them excited next time they have there next bag.

Freedom lip review

I have a few lip products by 'Freedom', I ordered them online a while ago on Superdrug .
The lip products that caught my eyes was the 'Pro melts lip gloss' at first without reading the packaging or actually reading the description online i thought the formula was going to be just a thin lip gloss. Then when i read the description it said ' Pro Melt lip gloss'  and though 'Oh ok! this will be interesting.'
The formula for these are very pigmented for a pro melt lip gloss, you apply one coat and the formula is very thick and looks the exact colour inside the tube.

Here's a photo of what they looked like when i applied them. Very thick but also shiny when the light was hitting on it. The formula was so much better than i thought it would have been.

Then I rubbed the pro melts in together to see if it dries at all, I did this 15 minutes after I applied it. You can rub them in to get a dryer feeling if you don't want a wet look on your lips.

Then i applied the formulas on to my lips without using a lip pencil or a lipstick. They do apply very well, the product isn't drying at all. It's a nice lipstick feeling, but I went out i would probably dab them down a bit with a dry makeup sponge or matte paper.

Overall i prefer the darker shade ' Neutral' as its autumn now it's nice to have a darker shade. The light shade ' True' is perfect for the summer time though, not only 'cause of the light shade but also the formula will not melt off leaving dry bits all over your lips. It's moisturizing, slightly mate and lip gloss.

As you can tell its very pigmented as I stated earlier. If it was a lip gloss you would of hardly seen the print.
Overall i would recommend you try out these great pro melts. You will be slightly impressed just like me!

Thin blue jumper- This is literally so comfy, it's perfect for one of those days when your not too cold and not too hot, I love high neck tops/ jumpers, as they feel so cosy and they look great with any hairstyle you put up or down. This jumper is pretty long, so I just tuck it in to a pair of skinny jeans which looks great! I do hope they bring in other colours as I do love this!.

Primark Accessories

                Primark beanies are so affordable yet looks pretty nice too.

    I do have  a few of there beanies in different colours but this one I've worn a few times, it caught my eye as it's so bright. This yellow beanie make's any rainy day pictures bright and stands out. This beanie is pretty comfy, I could wear this all day and it wouldn't itch or make me want to take it off. I highly recommend Primark if your looking for affordable beanie!.

Mirrored Sunglasses- I've brought a few of these over the past from Primark but lost the others. These are so affordable and still great for going out in the sun, these do protect the sun from your eyes, looks great even if you haven't got makeup on and you want to run to the shops, you can put these on and no one will notice your not wearing any eye makeup as you can see behind the lens's. Primark sells a few different colours in these such a black, rose gold and these silver ones.

 Brown long coat - So in the past I brought the red coat with the fur and recently I saw they sell the brown ones, so of course I brought the brown one too. As you can tell in the photo I've taken the fur off, it's so easy to take off. The fur has little holes which clips on to small buttons on your coat. So it's great if you want something around your neck one day and the other day you just want a simple coat.
This is cosy! I could wear this all day! I had to get the smallest one in the shop! as they do come up pretty big, and this one is still slightly too big for me. But it's great if I want to wear a thick jumper under it as it will fit perfectly. I highly recommend this coat as it keeps me warm and make me feel comfy when I'm out in the cold!.

Revolution matte lipsticks review

I've heard a few people talking about the new Revolution lip kits and thought I would order some too and give them ago as I love matte liquid lipsticks anyway.
They sold out on the superdrug website so I ordered them from https://www.tambeauty.com/ which was the same price anyway!
I found two liquid lipsticks I thought I would give ago then I found out they do have a few other liquid lipsticks they sell on there own so I ordered some of them as well.

The first matte lip kits I ordered was 'Echelon'. In the box you get a lip pencil and a liquid lipstick, the pencil is amazing!, it glides on so smooth and it doesn't scratch, the liquid lipstick, applies on very easily too, it glides on creamy at first then it takes alittle while to dry. If you leave the formula on it's own all day without any lipsticks, or gloss, this does stay on all day and that's what I like, for my lipstick too actually last the day!.
Anyway 'Echelon' is a beautiful brown nude which goes well with pretty much anything you wear, I don't normally go for browns but this is such a stunning brown, so if your don't too sure wearing brown yourself I highly recommend this as you will love it!.

The second matte lip kit is in the shade 'Noble' this is my top favourite matte lipsticks!
This colour is so beautiful, it's a orange nude, this looks great with a 'nude face' or even with eyeliner and mascara face!. I wear this in the morning, I don't top it up and it's still on my lips from when I get back home. It fades a little bit but you would expect that. Revolution lip liquids at the moment are so nice and creamy and my favourite lip products at the moment!...GIVE THESE AGO NOW =D

Noble

I purchased 2 of there liquid Euphoria's on there own to give these ago too. This one in ' 'Karma' is a slight different formula. It's a creamy buttery formula which leaves your lips soft and smooth but also looking like the matte liquid lipsticks. This is a similar shade to the matte lipstick in the shade Noble, both of them are a orange nude, but this shade is slightly lighter. This is my favourite shade out of the two liquid Euphoria's I purchased.

Karma

The other one I got is the one in the shade ' Fate' , this colour screems out summer to me!, its shuch a light beautiful pink which would look perfect to wear in the summer, with crop top, or even a nice white shirt. These look nice and glossy when you leave them on, so if your not too keen wearing a matte lipstick but like the look of them but want a slight shine to your lips then I highly recommend these Euphoria's!.

My last lip product I purchased by revolution is the Lipstick 'When you came to me' if you don't like liquid lipsticks then this is the one for you. It's such a beautiful moisturizing lipstick. It's a nudey pink which will look great with barley any makeup. But also if you want to go heavy on your eye's then this would settle your makeup down. This doesn't last all day, as I didn't expect it from a lipstick. But it makes your lip moistizered and looking pretty most of the day, just keep topping it up and you will be fine.

When you came to me

Overall I love all of these but my favourites are the new liquid lipsticks, they stay on my lips allday without a top up and the coulours are so beautiful. I highly recommend to check out and try out Revolution's lip products out expecially there new ones.

So it's almost that time of year, where everyone starts buying there Christmas advent calendars before they sell out and trust me they don't stay in shops for long. I remember when an advent used to be advent candles or just a chocolate advent calendar.

Loads of companies have made an advent, you get chocolate, candles, cosmetics, jewellery, toys and so on.

Anyway this year I wanted to find a beauty one as last year I had the H&M gold rose packaging advent, which was filled with Christmas charms, earings, etc which was in my last December blog post which I loved. I Found this one online which is amazing for the price. Its the ' Tecnic wreath advent calendar''. I love the shape of the advent its unusual to the normal look, its a hexagon shape with a wreath patterned in the middle of the box on the front.

You get 24 beauty products counting up to Christmas day. You do get lipglosses, pallets, nail varnishs etc... it does show you on the back of the box what you get inside, but if yiou didn't want to find out and keep it a surprise then stick the advent straight on to the wall or put it against something. But at least you don't know what day you will be getting that beauty product till you open the countdown doors of course.

By looking on the back of the advent I'm higly impressed for what you get and how much you spend for this beautiful unique calendar.

I cant wait to start opening the doors in December and letting you guys know that I received behind the doors and how I found what the products was like.

Overall I love the packaging, the value for money is amazing and I recommend you to give this ago in December.

So in a few months it will be Christmas again ( where has the time gone?!) Anyway most places have started to bring out there Christmas gifts. Boots is always worth looking around especially around now. I went in to my local boots and found sleek matte me lip creams gift set.

I love the sleek lip creams and brought this straight away!

You get four different lip cream shades and for the price for four its amazing!.

The first colour is 'Old Hollywood' the shade is a really dark red pretty much a burgundy colour. When you first apply to your lips it's a deep red then near the end of the day it slightly fades to a slight lighter red.  This shade is perfect for Christmas time with a black sparkly dress.

The second shade is 'Velvet slipper', this colour is a dark brown with hints of red/ purple tones. This really looks great for autumn time, so when your wearing a mustard colour jumper, autumn brown tee this would look great. I have been wearing this one a few times and I've been wearing this one while my hair has been up so you focus more on the lips This is my second favourite one out of the sleek pack.

The third one is 'Rioja red' as it has red in it's name of course you get the idea that it's red!

It's not one of your deep red's you see a lot of but it's a light red with a slight orange tone to it. This would look great either Autumn or Winter time! you can wear this lip cream with mustard jumpers, white shirts or even a fluffy snowy white jumper. I haven't worn this 'Rioja red' out yet but i'm sure I will!

The last lip cream is my everyday favourite 'Birthday suit' I've mentioned this lip cream a few time's before on my blog as it's the colour I always go back too, plus the colour is such a nice shade. This shade is a light brown nude, which looks amazing with anything you wear. I wear this shade pretty much everyday. You only need to apply one coat as it's very pigmented, but you can apply two coats if you want your shade to stand out more.

Overall I love all of these sleek matte me lip creams, also the products are amazing to apply they glide on in one smooth application, I first apply the bottom lip then the top after wards, this takes a few seconds to dry to get that matte finish. Then I apply a soft lipgloss on top just to make my lips less drying. Doing it this way makes my lips stay put this colour all day! even when i'm drinking green tea or water! That's why I always stick with the matte me's as the products does what it says on the box and stays on for hours without the product flaking on your lips.

I highly recommend you to try these out. Go to your local boots or superdrug , find the the testers test them on your hand and see what shade is best for you. Or if you want to see how good they are test some on your arm leave it for a good few hours go shopping then check your arm to see if the product is still on your arm. Which I highly sure it is. Then see what shade you want to go for, it takes a while for the product to come off your lips with a makeup wipe as the product is so pigmented and matte that it stays on your lips for hours making it harder to budge which is great as you want it to stay on all day . So out of the four my favourites in order is 'Birthday suit' then ' Velvet slipper', 'Old hollywood', then the 'Rioja Red. I do love them all and I highly recommend you to try these beautys out or get your family or friends the perfect gifts this Christmas and buy them this gift set they will love it!

Beike rose gold watch - I saw this online and thought it looked elegant and pretty, the brand name is 'Beike' and it's a Quartz wristwatch. The dial window is made out of glass, so I have to be very carful with it, don't want it to shatter! There's four differnet colours Red, pink, white and black. I choose the white daisy watch as it goes with anything! It's such a nice fitting, it's not too tight, it's pretty lose and feels really nice on your skin.

The photo on the left  I paired the Beike watch with a thin gold rose leaf bangle, when I sore this bangle I thought wow this will pair really well with the watch, it's the same colour rose gold, it's matches the nature it has, daisy's and leaf's and overall I love it!, it's abit too big so I pushed the two leaf's together to make it slightly tighter.

Rose gold earrings- These are really nice diamond shape earrings, these earrings have 3 'V' shape plain rose gold bits in the middle of the diamond shape, outside of the 'V' shapes there's a big 'V' shape with pretty gems on top of it, These would go well with any of the items I've mentioned so far in this blog.

Rose gold necklace-

This necklace caught my eye, the gems was just sparkling in the light in the store, it has a simple rose gold chain, with a gold rose circle and there's also a circle in the middle with pretty tiny gems. It looks really nice with a black dress.

I highly recommend everything here, especially the Beike watch it's not a tight fitting, it's pretty lose, looks smart with anything you wear and all of these jewellery items looks amazing!

Bourjois Rouge velvet

So in my previous blogs I've been telling you guys that I've been loving the sleek matte me liquid lipsticks, I wanted to try a different brand and see what other colours they have and if they do the same. I found out that Bourjois made matte liquid lipsticks too.

Cool Brown - Unlike some matt liquid lipsticks this is the most smoothest consistency matte liquid lipstick ever. The sleek matte me dried pretty quick which is great if your in a hurry to do your makeup but this liquid lipstick takes a while to dry to give it plenty of time to budge around your lips how you like it. This is in the shade cool brown which looks a slight pinky brown. This will look good with a cat eye or even a basic makeup look.

Grand cru- This colour is perfect for Autumn/ winter. It's such a nice shade of red, I searched it online before I brought it in Boots, and it looked purpley pink but actually testing it in store it applied as a nice deep red then when you rub it in its a light red. This liquid lipstick shade would look great with a 'Snow white' colour jumper or a Autumn mustard jumper. When you first apply it on your lips it goes on so smooth which is my favourite kinda liquid lipsticks. I'm so happy I've found a liquid lipstick that you when you drink a hot drink or even water that your lipstick doesn't get too dry on your lips that you just have to remove it.
The cool brown is more of a morning and day time shade and the Grand cru is more of a night time going out shade.

You should check these out, I will 100% buy these two shade again and also look in to the other colours the sell. Love them!.

So in my latest blogs I mentioned I dyed my hair blonde recently you guys haven't seen it so here it is. Anyway today its pretty sunny and hot so I thought I would wear a dress as it's such a lovely day. So this dress is from Miss Selfridges, it a black dress with two layers, the first layer is a see through material and the second layer is a thick shiny material to cover up what you are wearing under the dress.
It has a chocker neck which is covered with beads going around the neck line which is pretty flattering, it has a slit just under the neck line, which gives it abit more female feel.

As it gets slightly chilly during the day I've added my Boohoo kimono, it's such a nice mandala sort of feel, it's nice monochrome design. It's so comfy, its a pretty lose fitting with wider arms so it's such a perfect thing to wear during the day time when you don't wont to wear anything too tight or warm. This goes so well with the Miss Selfridges dress. I highly recommend checking out BOOHOO if you haven't already and looking at the kimono's. You can wear this pretty much with everything and it still makes your outfit look sylelish. Love this kimono to bits.

So it's almost that time of year when we all come in to fall! boots, jumpers , leaves, candles...

So I thought I would go out and buy a few bits for Halloween for myself and my daughter before everything gets sold out!

First off this purchase is a pretty simple item, it's a pumpkin scented candle, I love the smell of candles they just freshen up the room and give it a nice scent for a little while, it's nice when your all cosy under your blanket with a hot drink. This scent is a really calm no heavy pumpkin smell. It smells slightly sweet so it's a really good Halloween scent to have especially if your having a Halloween movie night this is great just to put on a table and chill.

So I saw these in the shop and I read the label ''Flashing cups'' and thought how do they flash?! there's a button at the bottom of the cup, you press it and it flashes, the light has three different settings, the first one is a crazy flicker setting, the second is a slower flicker and the third it holds the light still. These look so good in the dark and would look great at a kids Halloween party as the lights on these cups would brighten up the room. These would also be great for an adults movie night they are great to Instagram!.

They sell these in three different styles, the purple one has witches printed everywhere, the green has cobwebs and the orange has pumpkins.

The third thing I picked up was these ' Spooky false nails', so I never worn false nails before but I saw these and thought I would give them ago, There's witches, pumpkins and also spiders on the nails. I like the orange and black together its a really great Halloween look. You can buy other colours but I loved these the most. I will write a review about these near Halloween to say how well they stayed on and how I applied them and what they looked like for the finished look.

I picked up a box of these bracelets just to see what they are like, they do two different styles one of the styles is the bats and other is pumpkins. You get two bracelets in one box, you have to put them together yourself. They glow in the dark which is good for kids to wear so they won't get lost. You get four glow in the dark glow stick and two purple plastic bat. I haven't tried them out yet till Halloween, but you bend the glow sticks and put two in both holes on the back of the plastic bat, highly recommend these for kids.

The last item I picked up was this! so last year I dressed my daughter up in a pumpkin costume ( which looked adorable) this year I wanted to find something different not all kids would wear. I found the weirdest cutest Halloween costume which is this 3D spider costume. Its a black material with a big green cobweb with a giant orange 3D spider on the front. On the spider it has big goggle eyes with 6 legs hanging off the costume. This is such a weird costume but also so cute! I highly recommend this for both boys and girls it's such a adorable costume.

So that is all, when Asda brings out there Halloween items I will bring out another blog to show you the rest of my items for a Halloween night.
