So in my latest blogs I mentioned I dyed my hair blonde recently you guys haven't seen it so here it is. Anyway today its pretty sunny and hot so I thought I would wear a dress as it's such a lovely day. So this dress is from Miss Selfridges, it a black dress with two layers, the first layer is a see through material and the second layer is a thick shiny material to cover up what you are wearing under the dress.
It has a chocker neck which is covered with beads going around the neck line which is pretty flattering, it has a slit just under the neck line, which gives it abit more female feel.

As it gets slightly chilly during the day I've added my Boohoo kimono, it's such a nice mandala sort of feel, it's nice monochrome design. It's so comfy, its a pretty lose fitting with wider arms so it's such a perfect thing to wear during the day time when you don't wont to wear anything too tight or warm. This goes so well with the Miss Selfridges dress. I highly recommend checking out BOOHOO if you haven't already and looking at the kimono's. You can wear this pretty much with everything and it still makes your outfit look sylelish. Love this kimono to bits.

So it's almost that time of year when we all come in to fall! boots, jumpers , leaves, candles...

So I thought I would go out and buy a few bits for Halloween for myself and my daughter before everything gets sold out!

First off this purchase is a pretty simple item, it's a pumpkin scented candle, I love the smell of candles they just freshen up the room and give it a nice scent for a little while, it's nice when your all cosy under your blanket with a hot drink. This scent is a really calm no heavy pumpkin smell. It smells slightly sweet so it's a really good Halloween scent to have especially if your having a Halloween movie night this is great just to put on a table and chill.

So I saw these in the shop and I read the label ''Flashing cups'' and thought how do they flash?! there's a button at the bottom of the cup, you press it and it flashes, the light has three different settings, the first one is a crazy flicker setting, the second is a slower flicker and the third it holds the light still. These look so good in the dark and would look great at a kids Halloween party as the lights on these cups would brighten up the room. These would also be great for an adults movie night they are great to Instagram!.

They sell these in three different styles, the purple one has witches printed everywhere, the green has cobwebs and the orange has pumpkins.

The third thing I picked up was these ' Spooky false nails', so I never worn false nails before but I saw these and thought I would give them ago, There's witches, pumpkins and also spiders on the nails. I like the orange and black together its a really great Halloween look. You can buy other colours but I loved these the most. I will write a review about these near Halloween to say how well they stayed on and how I applied them and what they looked like for the finished look.

I picked up a box of these bracelets just to see what they are like, they do two different styles one of the styles is the bats and other is pumpkins. You get two bracelets in one box, you have to put them together yourself. They glow in the dark which is good for kids to wear so they won't get lost. You get four glow in the dark glow stick and two purple plastic bat. I haven't tried them out yet till Halloween, but you bend the glow sticks and put two in both holes on the back of the plastic bat, highly recommend these for kids.

The last item I picked up was this! so last year I dressed my daughter up in a pumpkin costume ( which looked adorable) this year I wanted to find something different not all kids would wear. I found the weirdest cutest Halloween costume which is this 3D spider costume. Its a black material with a big green cobweb with a giant orange 3D spider on the front. On the spider it has big goggle eyes with 6 legs hanging off the costume. This is such a weird costume but also so cute! I highly recommend this for both boys and girls it's such a adorable costume.

E.L.F Haul

E.L.F Haul/ Review

So I ordered and reviewed e.l.f products before and loved them, so I thought I would try out more of there products. I took a look online and found a few bits that I really wanted to try out so these are the things I ordered...

Lip Exfoliator clear - This lip exfoliator just smells like the one they do in Lush, it smells amazing, so when its starting to get cold your lips dry up a lot!, I've been using the lush lip scrubs for years and thought I would give e.l.f's exfoliator ago as its slightly different, the lush lip scrub product is in a little pot and you can get loads of different smells and colours, the e.l.f one comes in a lipstick container in two different colours. I like the product as lipstick exfoliator as it's a lot easier to apply if your out and about, the lush lip scrubs you have to stick your hand in and apply it on your lips and you can the remaining product on your hands and if you don't carry tissues or wipes then your kinda stuck, so this e.l.f exfoliator is a lot handy when you go out. But I do love the lush lip scrubs they smell so good.

Jumbo lip gloss stick - In the nude
So I've tried lip crayons before and never liked the product on me. I found the jumbo gloss sticks on the e.l.f website and thought they look like a jumbo crayon so I gave them ago and this colour is so nude you can barley notice it anyway, so if you like that look then this ones for you.

Jumbo lip gloss stick - Sangria starters
This shade goes on a lot better than the nude, this shade is a neutral none heavy wine berry, this product glides on straight away and its not sticky which is a big bonus for a gloss stick. This product is good to wear if you don't feel like wearing heavy makeup, I prefer this to the nude shade.

Nostalgic lipstick -
This product goes on straight away! it reminds me of the MAC Myth shade as it's pretty much the same shade and thickness.
I highly recommend this lipstick if your thinking of ordering a lipstick off of e.l.f.
The container of this product is pretty basic, it's a grey lipstick case with a slight bit in the middle which is see through which you can see the colour of your product. The lipstick it's self is a light nude pink, which is great for summer and also autumn.

Lipstick pen gloss - Maple sugar

These lipstick pen glosses comes in a clear tube, which you twist a lot to get the product out, so really its good if you have a child who love's to grab your makeup as they wont be able to get any of the product out. This maple sugar shade is a pretty neutral shiny clear pink which is nice to wear alone or even on top of a lipstick. So if you want a nude look then try this one out!

Conditioning  lip balm - Melow melon

This comes in a nice packaging, it feels nice and creamy, very moisturizing also really pigmented, this is one of my favourites I ordered on the e.l.f website. I don't always feel like wearing a lipstick if I have dry lips or if its too hot it will just melt off and this is brilliant. Its a lip balm tint with a really nice pink shade which will make your lips look nice and also keep them nice and healthy.

Eyebrow kit - Medium

It does what is says online!, gives you fuller thicker and more defined brows. My eyebrows aren't in bad shape at all, I just like touching them up abit to make them slighter darker, I love the gel and the brown powder, I thought the powder looked really light in the pallete but actually its the right shade I need and I love it .

Lengthening & defining mascara

My favourite 2 parts of make up are lipsticks and mascara!  I had to try thr e.l.f mascara. The brush is small which applies amazingly to the bottom lashes. This gives you a natural looking length and it doesn't leave clumbs. Also doesn't leave your eye lashes sticking together, so if you like natural looks then try this one out.

I highly recommend all of these products by e.l.f, they have amazing products and they don't lie at all to say what the products will do, it says what they actually do! and that's what I love. I recommend you check the e.l.f website E.L.F out and try a few things out, I can honstley say you will love them!

Hey bloggers/ visitors

I've been away for awhile now, moving in to a temp place, enjoying the sunshine and also got my dyed to blonde, good bye red!. I thought I would come and talk to you about planning and organising a blog post.

I had a trip in to my local town and thought I would start blogging again, I had a quick look around in Tesco, as I had to get something for my daughter. I came across these pastel coloured spiral notebooks, they have three coloured dividers to separate each post. I thought it would be great as a blogging book. You can add more dividers if you wanted to which is a big bonus.
It has a 19cm plastic ruler which is the same colour as your notebook, which is stuck in at the front which is very handy.
On the dividers it has see through pockets if you wanted to slide anything in, so I've made three different collages.
I stuck loads of different makeup for my makeup and beauty category, clothing items for my clothing category, also exercise cartoons and other healthy things for my health and fitness category.


This notebook is very organised and handy, I used it to write the blog post I'm typing now.
I also brought one of my favourite writing pens which reminds me back when I was in primary school practising my handwriting, which is the Berol paper mate handwriting pens.
I like to have a hot drink when it comes to writing/ typing out a blog, either a coffee or a green tea. So I went in to Wilkinson's and found see through mugs like the ones they have in costa coffee. These are made out of thick glass which I prefer to really thin glass mugs as I feel like they can break anytime i pour hot water in to them . I like to see what you are drinking so these are great! I also picked up a cute little grey butterfly sandwich tray which I use to put my hot drink on which looks super cute instead of a coster.

Writing up a blog in a notebook/notepad is a great way to plan what your going to say before you type it all up on your laptop/computer wasting time thinking what your going to type. So I highly recommend you to plan everything in a book then when your happy type it all up which wont even take long or even waste a lot of laptop battery. In my free time I like to write it all up either in a cafe and enjoy a nice mug of tea or even at home.

Blogging is great for everyone it's even better if your feeling stressed, depressed, want to get something off your chest, or even bored. It helps you get things off your mind and think about things you like and what you want to focus on.
If your thinking of getting in to blogging and don't know what to base your blog posts on then think to yourself could I base it on...

• Health ( Healthy eating, healthy lifestyle)
• Beauty
• Makeup
• Fashion
• Art
• Photography

or even helping people with different situations. If you like any of those, then i'm sure you could get in to blogging, think what bloggers inspire you and research the things you like then I'm sure you will get so many ideas on what to do for a blog post.

I started with health & beauty then fashion then I focused on healthy living and thinking how to keep myself nice and healthy since I had a kid. You need to keep yourself healthy to make your kid nice and healthy too.

H&M pyjama shirt review

H&M pyjama shirt review 

 

This H&M pyjama shirt is so comfy, it's not too thick or too thin, it's the perfect material for bed. This shirt is a very lose fitting but you can always tuck it in your pyjamas.

You can either wear it on top of a vest or wear it on it's own with the buttons undone or even done up. It's great for the summer or winter, you can wear it on its own or chuck a dressing gown on top of it and it still looks cute.

 

I paired this shirt with a small pair of pyjama shorts. This is a great look for the summer, it's not too warm and is still comfy. 

 

Overall I love this H&M pyjama shirt, it looks classy and stylish. It's a nice material to wear in bed, if you get hot a lot then this is perfect for you, you can also undo the buttons on the sleeves and roll them up. I'm sure they also sell bottoms to go with this shirt but as its plain you could pair this with anything!

Select stripe skirt

 This skirt is so simple yet so flattering, it fits like a glove, it's so easy to get in to. I ordered this skirt online and never owned a 'Select' skirt, i wasn't sure how it would fit but I love it. 

 

This looks great with a plain basic top, I've paired this up with a dark blue long sleeve top and it looks great. I highly recommend select skirts, they are actually better than I thought. 

New Look gold earrings 

Ive never brought earrings from new look but I saw these and thought I would give them ago. They are gold triangles in a lose circle with an overall hanging from the bottom. 

 

These make your outfit look stylish and smart. These are inexpensive so I highly recommend these if your looking for stylish and a smart look budget jewellery. They grab your attention straight away and will be pairing these with a lot more outfits to come. 

 

H&M Tights

I went in to H&M and found these in the accessories part. I brought a packs to give them ago. They are perfect, they fit like a glove, they sit nicely on your legs and bum . They aren't too dark or too see through, they are just how I like them, they aren't smooth, they have a slight rough feel to them. The material is pretty thin so it's hard not to catch things on them. But overall I love them and I will keep buying these tight from H&M, I highly recommend them.

Drop Dead Spring fever denim jacket review

I recently purchased the white spring fever denim jacket as I thought it looked completely different to what I normally go for.
This jacket was nicely packed in a popper bag with the DropDead smiley face logo which was see through so you can see your merch. This was also packed in there black and white parcel bags.

The quality of this jacket is so nice, it's light weight and it feels just like a normal denim jacket. DropDead loves there diss-stressed look. There's distressing on the sleeves, a few on the front and the back which gives it to that DropDead look.

The smiley face is printed in a black outline on to the back of the jacket. The smiley face is also on the buttons.

It's very unique it's not your normal plain white jacket, it has pink dye in a few parts on the jacket to give it a unique look. This jacket is perfect for the summer, if it's slightly chilly this is great, it's not too thick that you will get too hot and it's not too heavy so when you take it everywhere you won't leave your arms all achy.
This will look great with a black play suit or a pair of skinny jeans with a plain basic tee or even a shirt. Overall I'm pleased with this jacket, it's different to what I normally look for in a jacket, but I'm 100% glad I found it and ordered it!

DropDead clothing has improved so much over the years. They have gone from ''Scene'' clothing to alternative clothing. DropDead is suitable to pretty much everyone, I've been overall pleased with everything I've purchased either from online or even in there London store.
