Nail varnish's review

Starting to get in to nail art?
The nail varnish's I'm about to talk to you about are brilliant.

Revlon- Cabana queen : This nailvarnish is a very light grey with microshimmer throughout, it's a lot different to other grey nailvarnish's, the shimmer/ glitter does give it a nice touch to your nails. I used 3 coats to make it look great, the product does stay on for a few days which is great if you don't have the time to keep applying over and over again. I did a little tester on a piece of paper below with a quick swatch of this product. It's a nice thick liquid I highly recommend you to try the Revlon nail range out.

Sally Hansen- Intimate Luxe lace : Intimate has peachy and white hexagon glitters. It appears to look pinker in the bottle than how I apply it. You just need one to two coats, it looks great on pink/ peach nails or it will even look great with the grey Revlon nailvarnish above as this is pretty clear and the white hexagons will look great on it. If you haven't got time to draw your own hexagons/ circles on your nails then this bottle of nailvarnish is great!

Essence satin matt topcoat : This is perfect if you don't want shiny look nail's and want something different and go for the matt look! This is very affordable and this dries incredibly quick! I couldn't believe how quick it dries when I tried this out.  It will look great with any colour you use under the matt varnish.

All 3 of these would look great all together, first apply 3 coats of  Revlon- Cabana queen wait for it to dry then Sally Hansen- Intimate Luxe lace then finally one or two coats of the Essence satin matt topcoat. This would look great for any occasion, I highly recommend all of these brands/ nailvarnish's.

Resistance band exercises

Resistance band exercises

Want to tone up your body and don't know where to look to find out the best way? then keep reading

You will need

*Resistance Band
*Water
*Comfy clothes ( Sports bras/ tank tee, shorts etc..)
*Headphones/Music ( Optional)

A must have is comfy clothing while doing any exercises, you don't want to exercise in skinny jeans or with a wired bra which will dig in to you the whole time while working out. You can buy any sports wear these days they are all pretty much practical, stylish, and also comfy!.
I do own a quite a few different sports wear such as sports bras, lose tee's, shorts and also tracksuit bottoms, my favourite is sports bra with a pair of shorts, if I'm a bit chilly before I work out I do wear a lose tee on top of my sports bra.

Resistance bands are so in-expensive  and you can do so much with them!
These are my 3 favourite exercises with the band..

1)Shoulder press -  Place the resistance band under both of your feet, stand straight with your arms bent and by your sides. Without lifting your shoulders, slowly raise your arms above your head until they come together

2)Shoulder press with lunge - This exercise you first put one foot forwards then  place the resistance band under that foot and hold on to both ends of the band. As you bend your legs to drop into a lunge, straighten your arms  as high as feels comfortable. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat. You will feel the pressure on your legs so you will know when your finished.

3 Bicep curl - Stand up with your  feet wide apart, place the resistance band under both feet. Hold the band with arms straight and by your sides. Slowly bend from the elbow, raising your hands with the band to your shoulders, keeping your elbows tucked in. Slowly lower the band down and repeat. Keep doing this till you feel so like you can't do anymore.

There's a few of my favourite exercises with the band, it's always best to have a bottle of water near you so you won't de-hydrate. If you doing these exercise's for over half an hour or even for an hour you should give yourself a few breaks and just have a breather and a few sips of water to keep you hydrated.

While doing these exercises you could also listen to music to make you feel up to it and it will keep you in beat with what your doing. There's a lot of beat/ exercise music out there so check some out.

I hope you have picked something you would love to try out, I will be doing a lot more of these kind of blogs soon and tell you what my next favourite exercise is next time. Thanks for reading, keep checking for more blogs to come,

TRESemmé defined curls

Tresemme's defined curls

I've been using my hair straighteners to curl my hair but I wanted to give my hair abit more of a curly look. I found these Tresemme defined curl tongs in boots and thought I would give them ago.

These heat up to 185°C, I hold these on to sections of my hair for about 5-8 seconds which isn't too long which is good if your in a rush to style your hair.

I first apply the tresemme heat defence and brush it through all of my hair, then I grab a section of my hair start from the bottom and roll the hair upwards, leave the tongs for 5-8 seconds then keep reaping. Then I spray a small amount of hairspray on to my curls and on to my fringe to let it all stay in place. Overall I love these they give you defined, tight lasting curls. I highly recommend these!

Khoroma beauty review

Khoroma beauty nail varnish's review

Kourtney, Kim and Khole Kardashian's have there own makeup range which is called 'Khoroma' beauty so I thought I would give there products ago.

I'm loving neutral colours this year so I picked up two neutral shades of nail varnish's.
The first one is in the shade ''Buff'' this is a beige colour you apply this a few times, you do need to leave this product to dry for a while over wise they will smudge so you do need time to leave them to dry. I love this colour it goes with anything you wear.

The second shade is ''Flesh'' this is a peachy colour which also goes well with anything. These don't last long but the colours are so nice and neutral which I love and you can wear these colours to work which is a bonus.

I highy recommend them if your trying out nail varnish's or like changing your nail colour daily. They do a lot more colours so if the neutral's aren't for you they do other colours too also lipsticks and other makeup not just nail varnish's

Ps makeup range review

Ps Makeup review

Loads of people keep saying how well the ps makeup range is and how amazing the contour kit is. I took a trip in to my local primark and picked up a few of there ps makeup range.

The first product I picked up was the contour kit. The kit comes in a cardboard box to protect the whole kit. This kit includes 3 shades to sculpt, the first shade is ''Bronze'' which you apply on your cheeks, chin and nose which adds a warmth look to your face.
The second shade is the ''Contour'' shade which you apply under your cheeks, sides of your nose and jawline. The third shade is the ''Highlight'' which highlights and gives you a nice glow, which you apply above cheeks, cupids brow and the bridge of your nose.

These are pretty pigmented so I recommend to not press too hard with your brush but its a really nice kit. There's a mirror inside, which is a nice size, so you can see how well your applying the makeup on your face, The kit comes with a piece of paper which shows you the different shades and what you use them for on your face. This also comes with a brush which is ok if you don't have one but I much prefer to have a harder type of brush to apply quicker and make the contour stronger.

I normally go for a matt lipstick but I thought I would pick up a non matt lipstick for when its hot and I don't want a drying lipstick. I picked up a ps lipstick in the shade '' Desert Sand'' it applies on to your lips straight away. It's a nice soft moisturizing burgundy lipstick, it's a nice summer shade which will go with a neutral just mascara and lipstick look. This doesn't last all day which I expect for the price but its good if your just trying out new makeup for the first time

Most of the ps makeup range packaging is black and gold which is a smart way showing of there range. I picked up the volumizing mascara in black. The brush is better than I thought it would be, the product applies really well and it does what it says it does give your lashes volume, it does fade during the day but you can apply the mascara back on your lashes and they still look nice and dramatic. I do think this is a lot better than some expensive mascaras out there, it applies straight away, I highly recommend this if your looking for a great bargain and a good mascara for your lashes.

I needed a mirror which will zoom in to your face so I can see clearly in while doing my makeup. I picked up the pink light up mirror, one side of the mirror is normal and the other side is magnifying which zooms on to your face so you can apply your makeup clearly and know if you missed anything out or got a bit of mascara in the wrong place. The light on the mirror is pretty bright so make sure not to put it too close to your eyes but overall I think the mirror is a great way to apply your mascara and it's a nice size to put in your handbag to take on the go.

Overall I think all of these products are amazing for the price. It's a great starter kit which will make you get in to makeup a lot more, the ps range is a great range to see what suits you more, it's so affordable so you can buy all different products and try them all out to see what looks great on you. I highly recommend you all to go out and try there ps range you will not be disappointed.

Sleek Matte Me review

Sleek Matte Me review

I've always wanted a liquid lipstick which isn't too glossy. The sleeks matte me lip creams are creamy at first, you apply some of the product on the bottom lip then add some on the top lip. A minute after it dries in to a matte lipstick formula!

I picked up the shade ''Birthday Suit'' this is such a nice dark nude shade, this does stay on all day! without any coat. I've been trying for ages to find one which will last all day and this is perfect! I apply this early in the mornings when I come back from work during the evenings its still on my lips.

You can drink cold or even hot drinks without it pressing lipstick marks on to your mug, This is one of my favourite Matte lipcream ever!. I highly recommend you to check the Sleek Matte Me lipstick creams now. I'm really pleased with this product I will be trying there other matte me creams out when I'm next in boots or superdrug again.

Shiny looking hair with these products

Have you got dull or rough looking hair? Then read on..

Alberto Balsam blends shine spray
I found this Alberto Balsam shine spray. It's new so I really wanted to try it, you can spray it on wet or dry hair but don't rinse it out, just leave it in and brush it through with your fingers. This product smells really nice, this has enhancing rose oil and peach fragrance which leaves your hair smelling amazing. I used it early this morning, haven't re-touched it and the smell has lasted all day. So not only it gives you a really nice healthy shine but also leave your hair smelling super fresh.

Pantene Pro-V hairspray ultra strong hold 05

I've been using this Pantene hairspay a lot I found this product in my local pharmacy. Tresemme and Vo5 has always been my favourite hairsprays but this is also one of my favourites. Some hairspray can give it that rough/ hard look on your hair, but this Pantene hairspray doesn't, it leaves your hair stay put all day long without any re-applying and also it gives you a lot of shine and volume to your hair. This is perfect if you have thin hair and want it to look thicker and shiny.

The hairspray holds really well all day and the shine spray does what it says on the bottle! smells amazing and also gives your hair a shine!
Highly recommend you to have a look at these 2 products.
